Due to the technical difficulties 3ABN have been experiencing during this year on Optus D2 it has been decided to move 3ABN to a different transponder (channel) frequency on the satellite.
Both the old and new transponders are airing 3ABN at the same time until January 4, 2009 to facilitate the change over. THIS CHANGE SHOULD NOT AFFECT ANY OTHER CHANNEL ON YOUR RECEIVER!
OPTIONS AVAILABLE
- Perform the re-scan yourself with our on-line instructions
- Order a service call - For those who are unable to perform the re-scan themselves or do not have anyone else that could help them follow the instructions, we can provide the assistance of a technician for a $50 to $75 (metro only) call-out fee including GST. For rural call-outs, a travel fee may apply. Click here to submit a request for service call form
- Post us your receiver - If you send us your receiver, we can perform a re-scan for you and post it back to you ready to plug in and go. The costs for the re-scan is $25 including GST. Please be aware that you are also required to provide a reply-paid satchel for the return postage.
